Common use of LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS Clause in Contracts

LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. 46.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of Shop Stewards from the Union and representatives from the Employer. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The committee shall meet at the request of either party for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern, including, but not limited to, staff recruitment and retention, training, communications, staffing levels, workloads, and funding arrangements. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for (or banked) at straight time by the Employer. The committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend any of the terms and conditions contained in the Collective Agreement.

Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this committee Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for (or banked) at straight time by the EmployerCo-operative.
