Common use of LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS Clause in Contracts

LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS. 20.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of Shop Stewards from the Union and representatives from the Employer. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Employer. Time spent by employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked. The Committee shall not have jurisdiction to interpret and/or amend any of the terms and conditions contained in the Collective Agreement. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time.
