LABOUR RELATIONS EDUCATION. 25.1 Where the Parties agree that it is in their mutual best interests, the Corporation agrees to grant leave with pay for employees to attend training specifically related to the understanding and application of Collective Agreements in order to meet the Purpose and Intent of this Agreement as described in Article 1 (Purpose and Intent of Agreement). The focus of such training may include, but is not limited to, courses on the operation of joint committees, dispute resolution, effective grievance handling and arbitration. The type and duration of such training courses are to be mutually agreed on an annual basis.
LABOUR RELATIONS EDUCATION. The Employer shall grant time off to a maximum of five (5) days per calendar year for up to two (2) Association AMAPCEO representatives with pay and no loss of credits for the purpose of labour relations education, unless such time off would impair operational requirements. AMAPCEO will reimburse the Employer for leaves taken under this section in accordance with Article 8.7.

These training opportunities will highlight the importance of an interest- based approach to dispute resolution, so that representatives of the Corporation and the Union are best equipped to resolve disputes, both generally and under Article 16.
LABOUR RELATIONS EDUCATION. The parties agree that time will be given for labour relations education at the request of either party.
