PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. By entering into this Agreement the State and the Tribe indicate their intention and willingness to be bound by its terms so long as this Agreement is in effect. While this Agreement is in effect between the Tribe and the State it is agreed that (i) their respective rights will be determined by this Agreement with respect to the taxes that are the subject of this Agreement, (ii) neither party will seek additional entitlement or seek to deny entitlement on any federal ground (including federal preemption) whether statutorily provided for or otherwise with respect to the taxes that are the subject of this Agreement, (iii) neither party will contest the legality of the Agreement or the legal authority of any of its provisions, and (iv) both parties will defend this Agreement from attack by third parties.
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 It is the intent and purpose of this Collective Agreement to recognize the community of interest between the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the Canadian Media Guild in promoting the utmost cooperation between the Corporation and its employees, consistent with the rights of both parties. It is further the intent of this Agreement to xxxxxx a friendly spirit and harmonious relationship which shall prevail between the Corporation and the employees. To this end this Agreement is signed in good faith by the parties. The Agreement is therefore designed to set forth clearly the rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment to be observed between the parties. It is further the intent of this Agreement to xxxxxx an open and professional relationship which shall prevail at all times. The parties to this Agreement share a desire to promote the success of the Corporation and CMG members in carrying out the Corporation's mandate under the Broadcasting Act and the parties further agree that the Union and its members will fully support the Corporation in maintaining the highest quality programs, ensuring value to the Canadian public.
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 The Parties recognize that VICE Media is the world’s preeminent youth media company and content creation studio. It is the purpose and intent of this collective agreement to recognize the common interests and to define the relations between VICE Studio Canada Inc. (“VICE”) and the Union in promoting a creative, innovative, collaborative and progressive workplace, subject at all times to public scrutiny and regulatory authority. Further, it is the intent of this agreement to xxxxxx open communication and a cooperative and harmonious spirit between VICE and the Union and employees. The parties recognize the continuing rights of management to operate VICE efficiently and with regard to service to the public and clients, and the means by which grievances shall be disposed of promptly and equitably. VICE and the Union are committed to promoting the success of VICE while providing opportunities for its diverse workforce to fulfill their career aspirations.

To this end, this agreement is signed in good faith by the parties and shall clearly set forth the rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment to be observed between the parties.
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 The regional communications system was established and has been operated in accordance with the terms and provisions of the original Interlocal Agreement dated October, 1999 which agreement was amended on July 1, 2002. The original agreement is due to terminate by its terms in October, 2014. This AmendedInterlocal Agreement, dated October 2014, between the County of Washoe, the Washoe County School District, the Nevada Department of Transportation, the City of Reno, the City of Sparks and the Truckee Xxxxxxx Fire Protection District provides for the continued development and operation of the Washoe County Regional Communications System (WCRCS).
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. 1.1 The Commission hereby recognizes the Teamsters Local Union No. 436, affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for the purpose of collective bargaining on all matters pertaining to wages, hours, terms and other conditions of employment for all employees in the bargaining unit for which this recognition is accorded and defined in the Certification issued by the State Employment Relations Board on March 28, 2002 (Case No. 01-REP-09-0217).
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. The District and the Association agree that it is their joint responsibility and primary function to assure each boy and girl attending the Xxxxxxx-Fine School the highest level of educational opportunity available. It is the intent and purpose of this Agreement to further this primary function by setting forth a procedure that will enhance communication, cooperation and mutual understanding in the area of terms and conditions of employment. The representatives of the District and the Association shall continue to provide each other with such advance notice as is reasonable under the circumstances on all matters of importance in the administration of the terms of the Agreement, including changes or innovations affecting the relations between the parties.
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. The purpose and intent of this Agreement is to define the rights and obligations of the Parties for the provision of County information technology services (“Services”) for use by the Fire Districts, including but not limited to, the procurement, installation, administration, operation, maintenance, and future replacements of technology components (“Technology Refresh”).
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. The sole purpose and intent of this Agreement is to provide the means for a couple (Intended Mother and Intended Father, hereinafter collectively referred to as “Intended Parents”) or a single male or a single female, or a same sex couple to become the parents of a child(ren) conceived using Intended Father’s sperm or donated sperm and eggs donated by the Donor. The eggs retrieved from the Donor will be donated to the Intended Parents and will be fertilized with Intended Father’s sperm or donated sperm and then transferred to the Intended Mother (or a gestational carrier) who will carry and give birth to the child(ren). While the law regarding egg donations is unsettled in the State of California at this time, it is the express intention of the Parties that the Intended Parents will be the sole and legal parents of any child(ren) conceived pursuant to the egg donation and shall assume all parental, custodial, inheritance and testamentary rights and responsibilities from any child(ren) born pursuant to this Agreement and a subsequent Ova Donation Agreement. The Parties specifically understand, agree and acknowledge that the Donor and Donor’s Spouse, if any, do not intend to, nor shall they have any rights to claim and/or to establish any parental, custodial, inheritance or testamentary rights to any child(ren) born pursuant to this Agreement. The Intended Parents further hereby release the Donor and Donor’s Spouse, if any, from any such rights and/or obligations that they may be deemed to have had.
PURPOSE AND INTENT OF AGREEMENT. (A) The purpose and intent of this Agreement is to (1) provide for the City’s purchase of Initial Purchased Capacity in the Facility of .75 MGD, and to provide for the purchase of additional Capacity by the City up to a guaranteed total amount of 1.5 MGD average annual dry weather flow and 3.3 MGD peak flow capacity in the Facility (including the Shared Transmission Main and Shared Collector Sewer System); (2) allocate between the Parties the costs of Capital Repair and Replacement Projects and Capital Projects; and (3) allocate the District’s and City’s use of the wastewater treatment capacity of the Facility.
