Layoff Process (Full-Time a) In the event of a layoff of full-time employee(s), the Employer will lay-off full-time employees within the affected classification(s) in the reverse order of their bargaining unit seniority provided that there remain on the job employees who have the ability and qualifications to perform the work, subject to the following: b) A full-time who is subject to layoff shall have the right to: i) accept the lay-off; or ii) displace a full-time employee who has lesser bargaining unit seniority and who is the least senior full-time employee within the same classification or an identical or lower paying classification provided that the full-time employee originally subject to lay-off is qualified for and can perform the duties of the classification with a maximum of three (3) shifts of orientation; or iii) displace a part-time employee who has lesser bargaining unit seniority in the same classification or in an identical or lower paying classification, provided that the full-time employee is qualified for and can perform the duties of the classification with a maximum of three (3) shifts of orientation. In determining the ability of an employee to perform the work for the purposes above, the Employer shall not act in an arbitrary fashion. The decision of the full-time employee to choose (i), or (ii) or (iii) above shall be given in writing to the Administrator within three (3) calendar days (excluding weekends and holidays) following the notification of lay-off. Employees failing to do so will be deemed to have accepted the lay-off.

  • Best Efforts/Full-time Executive will expend Executive’s best efforts on behalf of Company, and will abide by all policies and decisions made by Company, as well as all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations or ordinances. Executive will act in the best interest of Company at all times. Executive shall devote Executive’s full business time and efforts to the performance of Executive’s assigned duties for Company, provided that Executive may continue to serve on the boards of directors of other companies so long as such service is in accordance with the Company’s policies governing such activities.

  • Full-Time A full-time employee is an employee who regularly works forty (40) hours per week and 2080 hours per calendar year.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Full-Time Nurse is a Nurse who is hired to a position on a regular or temporary basis to work the work period described in Article 7.00 of this Agreement.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular, full-time employee is one who is scheduled to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, on a regular basis.

  • Full-Time Position Executive accepts such employment and agrees to devote substantially all of his business time, energies and attention to the performance of his duties hereunder. Nothing herein shall be construed as preventing Executive from making and supervising personal investments, provided they will not interfere with the performance of Executive’s duties hereunder or violate the provisions of Section 5.4 hereof.

  • Full-Time Efforts Employee shall perform and discharge faithfully and diligently such duties and responsibilities and shall devote Employee’s full-time efforts to the business and affairs of Company. Employee agrees to promote the best interests of the Company and to take no action that is likely to damage the public image or reputation of the Company, its subsidiaries or its affiliates.

  • Full Time; Best Efforts The Executive shall use his best efforts to promote the interests of the Company and shall devote his full business time and efforts to its business and affairs and shall not provide management services to any other company or otherwise engage in business activities that would reasonably be expected to materially interfere with the performance of the Executive’s duties, services and responsibilities hereunder.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38-hours per week.

  • Full-Time Only During the year of the leave, seniority shall continue to accumulate. Service for the purposes of vacation and salary progression and other benefits will be retained but will not accumulate during the period of the leave.
