Learning Improvement Time. 44 a. Purpose 1 In order to provide employees with the time they need for collaboration, meetings, 2 planning, preparation, and training, the seven and one-half (7.5) hour workday will be 3 structured to include a block of fifty (50) minutes for such use each morning. No more 4 than ten (10) District meetings per month may be scheduled during this block.

Learning Improvement Time. The following Section 2 is contingent on full levy funding. The District will provide and direct the equivalent of two (2) professional development days during the course of each contract year. Payment for professional development time covered by this section is available to staff that attend and participate in professional development activities and document their participation on a building attendance roster. Leave, such as sick, emergency, personal, bereavement, etc., will not be permitted.
