Leave for Association Business. L.1 Leaves of absence for Association business as provided in Article 11.02 shall be administered as follows: (a) The cumulative total leave of absence for the members of the Local Association shall be fifty (50) days. (b) There shall be no more than two (2) nurses granted Association leave at any given time, unless it is possible to do so. (c) Requests for Association leaves of absence shall be made in writing in the request book to the Nurse Manager or her or his designate, prior to the posting of the applicable time schedule, if possible.
