LEAVE FOR PARTICIPATING IN SELECTION PROCESS. Upon 24 hours advance notice by the employee to his/her supervisor, an employee who has received a certification for an Alameda County employment interview shall be granted paid leave while participating in the interview scheduled during the employee's working hours. Sufficient paid leave shall be granted to permit the employee to travel between the work place and the site of the interview. Interviews for jurisdictions other than the County of Alameda are exempted from this provision.
