Leave for Public Duties. (a) Subject to mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union, the Employer may, upon receipt of a written request, grant a leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority to a maximum of eight (8) weeks, so that an employee may be a candidate in federal, provincial or municipal elections.
