Common use of Leave for Union Position Clause in Contracts

Leave for Union Position. a. Leave without pay, from a position with the Board, shall be granted for one term to an employee who is elected to a full-time position with the Union. Upon request, the Board shall grant one extension of the leave without pay. The employee shall continue to be on leave from the original position from which leave was granted.
