LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR ASSOCIATION BUSINESS. 12.01 Any leave under this section shall be granted only upon written application from the member to their Regional or Bureau Commander. Such applications shall describe the type of meeting for which leave of absence is requested. The Association will provide a monthly report to the Employer of days utilized for each of the provisions of this article. Leave-of-absence for the purpose of traveling to and attending meetings shall be granted without deduction from credits to three (3) delegates from each branch for the purpose of attending two (2) Association Executive Board Meetings each year as follows: a three (3) day meeting in the Spring and a three (3) day meeting in the Fall. In addition to the three (3) days leave, up to two (2) days leave of absence may be granted for necessary traveling time.
