  • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district. b. An employee must initiate the sick leave verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of commencing employment with the new school district. c. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the sick leave credits which the employee seeks to port.

  • REQUESTS FOR FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS 49.1 Employee may request change in working arrangements s.65 of the Act. Note 1: Section 65 of the Act provides for certain Employees to request a change in their working arrangements because of their circumstances, as set out in s.65(1A).

  • Overtime Scheduling 1. Each employee interested in working overtime may volunteer by requesting, in writing, to be added to the voluntary overtime list within his/her building and/or the district-wide voluntary overtime list. They will also indicate whether they wish to work during their vacation period. Such written request to be added to or deleted from the overtime lists may be made at any time; however, if the employee is requesting to be deleted from the list(s), he/she shall not be allowed to rejoin the list(s) for a ninety (90) calendar day period. Such lists shall be maintained on a yearly basis, from September 1st to August 31st of each year. The employer will serve notice to the employees, by a memo into each work area, that overtime lists are being formulated, by August 15th of each year. 2. The list will be compiled for September with the volunteers listed in seniority order. Overtime shall be rotated among volunteers. The rotation shall be continuous through the year until a new list is compiled the following September. If an employee volunteers who was not on the list he/she shall be placed on the list according to his/her seniority and he/she shall be eligible to work overtime in accordance with the normal rotation. 3. To the extent possible, employees will be notified at least four (4) hours prior to the end of the shift of any overtime for that day and by noon on Friday for any Saturday overtime. Any employee who has volunteered to work overtime and is notified in accordance with this paragraph shall be obligated to work the overtime hours in their building unless excused by the supervisor. 4. Overtime assignments will be on a rotating schedule among the qualified employees within each classification who have expressly volunteered for such overtime work. The employer’s obligation to rotate overtime shall be satisfied by calling employees who are working at the time the overtime determination is made (i.e., not on vacation or other leave of absence) in seniority order and offering them the opportunity to work. 5. If there are insufficient volunteers available for any specific assignment, the employer may require the least senior employee in the division to perform the work. 6. Substantiated errors made in the rotation of overtime (Article XIII Section G.4) will be corrected on the basis of offering the by-passed employee an amount of overtime equal to the time lost due to the error of assignment. Depending on the number of hours involved, it is possible that this may take more than (1) one overtime offer/assignment. Acceptance of the compensatory overtime will not change the employees spot in the overtime rotation, thus the employee will remain eligible for overtime in the same rotation as before the error. The compensatory overtime will not be offered at such a time or in such a manner that would purposefully cause inconvenience or inability to the effected employee to comply. In the event the employee declines the offered overtime work, the employee shall forfeit any future claim to the overtime hours in dispute.

  • Requests for Assistance 1. Requests for assistance shall be made in writing, signed by the Chairperson of the Requesting Authority and addressed to the contact person of the Requested Authority listed in Annex A. 2. To the extent available to the Requesting Authority, the request should specify the following: a. a description of the subject matter of the request and the purpose for which the information is sought and the reasons why this information will be of assistance; b. a description of the specific information requested by the Requesting Authority; c. a description of the facts that constitute the grounds for the suspicion that the offence that is the subject of the request has been committed, and of the connection between these facts and the assistance requested; d. a short description of the relevant provisions that may have been violated and, if known to the Requesting Authority, a list of the persons or institutions believed by the Requesting Authority to possess the information sought or the places where such information may be obtained and the details that support this belief, to the best of the Requesting Authority’s knowledge; e. in so far as the request concerns information relating to transactions in specific securities • a description of the securities in question as precise as possible, including e.g. the securities code, • the names of those firms with whose dealings in the securities the Requesting Authority is concerned, • the dates between which transactions in the securities are considered relevant for the purposes of the request, • the names of any persons on whose behalf relevant transactions in the securities are believed or suspected to have been entered into; f. in so far as the request relates to information concerning the business or activities of any person, such precise information as the Requesting Authority is able to provide so as to enable such persons to be identified; g. an indication of the sensitivity of the information contained in the request and whether the Requesting Authority agrees that the request shall be disclosed to persons whom the Requested Authority may need to approach for information; h. whether the Requesting Authority is or has been in contact with any other authority or law enforcement agency in the State of the Requested Authority in relation to the subject matter of the request; i. any other securities authority of another State whom the Requesting Authority is aware has an active interest in the subject matter of the request; j. an indication of the urgency of the request, or the desired time period for the reply; x. a declaration that any information or document transferred to the Requesting authority pursuant to the request shall be used solely for the purpose for which it was delivered.

  • CENTRAL GRIEVANCE PROCESS The following process pertains exclusively to grievances on central matters that have been referred to the central process. In accordance with the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act central matters may also be grieved locally, in which case local grievance processes will apply.

  • Work Order (s) means a detailed scope of work for a Service required by Transnet, including timeframes, Deliverable, Fees and costs for the supply of the Service to Transnet, which may be appended to this Agreement from time to time.

  • Customization ICP shall customize the Customized Site and Customized Programming for AOL Members as follows: (a) ICP shall customize and co-brand the Customized Site and Customized Programming for distribution over the AOL Properties listed in Exhibit A-1 using AOL's design guideline templates and co-branding requirements, including by (x) displaying on each page of the Customized Site framing (e.g., C-frame, side navigation/menu bars, headers and footers) of size and type determined by AOL and which contain branding for the applicable AOL Property and ICP as determined by AOL and, as determined by AOL, links to the applicable AOL Property, a search box and/or promotional spaces to be programmed by AOL, and (y) matching the look and feel of the applicable AOL Property on the Customized Site. In addition, ICP shall comply with any customization and co-branding requirements set forth on Exhibit A. ICP shall make any changes to the customization and/or co-branding of the Customized Site to conform to the standard requirements of any AOL Property or otherwise reasonably requested by AOL during the Term. (b) ICP shall ensure that AOL Members accessing the Customized Site and/or Customized Programming or linking to any ICP Interactive Site from the Customized Site or Customized Programming do not receive advertisements, promotions or links (i) for any entity reasonably construed to be in competition with AOL or the applicable AOL Property, (ii) in a category in which AOL or the applicable AOL Property has an exclusive or other preferential relationship (but this limitation only applies to the Team Pages, Stars Pages, and the Extreme Main Page), or (iii) otherwise in violation of the applicable AOL Property's then- standard advertising policies. ICP shall ensure that all Advertisements sold by ICP or its agents comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. (c) Within the Customized Site, ICP shall use and/or feature solely AOL's tools and technology for the following utilities and functionality: instant messaging, chat, personalized news service, calendaring (including "click-to-add event" functionality associated therewith), web page community services, message boards, and commerce/content aggregation services (e.g., Shop@AOL and local content) ("AOL Tools"). If any such AOL Tool is not made available for use on the Customized Site within a reasonable time upon ICP's request, ICP shall be permitted to utilize on the Customized Site similar tools and technology provided [*], provided that such tools and technology are not [*] and no links or promotions for such third party appear on the Customized Site and, provided, further that ICP will convert such tools and technology over to the corresponding AOL Tool once such AOL Tool is made available. In addition, the Customized Site shall not (x) provide or promote any email service, or (y) use or feature the tools or technology of any Interactive Service other than AOL. (d) Within the AOL Service, ICP shall host the Main Teams Page, Team Aggregate Screens, Main Stars Page, Stars Aggregate Screens and the Extreme Main Page of the Customized Programming and Customized Site under a domain name co-branded with the applicable AOL Property as follows: xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx and all other pages within the Customized Site will have domain names with applicable ICP Property extension such as xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx or xxxxxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. Within all other AOL Properties, ICP shall host the Team Pages, Stars Pages and Extreme Online Area of the Customized Programming and Customized Site under a domain name co-branded with the applicable AOL Property as follows: xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx and all other pages within the Customized Site may have domain names such as xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. AOL will use commercially reasonable efforts to have [*] for traffic on the Team Pages within the AOL Service so long as such pages remain in Rainman format. With respect to traffic on any other pages relating to the Customized Site or Customized Programming which appear on an AOL URL, AOL will use commercially reasonable efforts, including by providing any necessary [*], to help [*]. For pages appearing on an ICP URL, then AOL will use commercially reasonable efforts, including by providing any necessary [*], to help ICP [*] and ICP shall used [*].

  • Telework Members are eligible for teleworking during the professional work days designated for grading and reporting at the end of the first, second and third grading periods, and on the day of the Maryland State Education Association Convention if that day is a duty day for teachers. a. The principal will determine which positions, if any may need to be on site for all or part of the day to support other professionals in the building or to fulfill their professional responsibilities. b. With the approval of the Principal, school-based educators who have demonstrated the ability to meet their professional responsibilities, including grade submission according to Board policy may telework on the professional work day at the end of each of the first three marking periods. c. First year teachers will be required to work on site for the first two marking periods on these days. d. Upon request a written rationale will be provided by the supervisor to any educator whose request to telework is denied. e. Items a-d above do not apply to the MSEA Convention Day.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate. B. Overtime shall be paid to employees for work performed only after eight (8) hours on duty in any one (1) service day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) service week. Nothing in this Section shall be construed by the parties or any reviewing authority to deny the payment of overtime to employees for time worked outside of their regularly scheduled work week at the request of the Employer.   • Matters Applicable to All Requests for Compensation (a) Any Agent or any Lender claiming compensation under this Article III shall deliver a certificate to the Borrower setting forth the additional amount or amounts to be paid to it hereunder which shall be conclusive in the absence of manifest error. In determining such amount, such Agent or such Lender may use any reasonable averaging and attribution methods. (b) With respect to any Lender’s claim for compensation under Sections 3.01, 3.02, 3.03 or 3.04, the Borrower shall not be required to compensate such Lender for any amount incurred more than one hundred and eighty (180) days prior to the date that such Lender notifies the Borrower of the event that gives rise to such claim; provided that if the circumstance giving rise to such claim is retroactive, then such 180-day period referred to above shall be extended to include the period of retroactive effect thereof. If any Lender requests compensation by the Borrower under Section 3.04, the Borrower may, by notice to such Lender (with a copy to the Administrative Agent), suspend the obligation of such Lender to make or continue from one Interest Period to another applicable Eurocurrency Rate Loan, or, if applicable, to convert Base Rate Loans into Eurocurrency Rate Loans, until the event or condition giving rise to such request ceases to be in effect (in which case the provisions of Section 3.06(c) shall be applicable); provided that such suspension shall not affect the right of such Lender to receive the compensation so requested. (c) If the obligation of any Lender to make or continue any Eurocurrency Rate Loan, or to convert Base Rate Loans into Eurocurrency Rate Loans shall be suspended pursuant to Section 3.06(b) hereof, such Lender’s applicable Eurocurrency Rate Loans shall be automatically converted into Base Rate Loans (or, if such conversion is not possible, repaid) on the last day(s) of the then current Interest Period(s) for such Eurocurrency Rate Loans (or, in the case of an immediate conversion required by Section 3.02, on such earlier date as required by Law) and, unless and until such Lender gives notice as provided below that the circumstances specified in Sections 3.02, 3.03 or 3.04 hereof that gave rise to such conversion no longer exist: (i) to the extent that such Lender’s Eurocurrency Rate Loans have been so converted, all payments and prepayments of principal that would otherwise be applied to such Lender’s applicable Eurocurrency Rate Loans shall be applied instead to its Base Rate Loans; and (ii) all Loans that would otherwise be made or continued from one Interest Period to another by such Lender as Eurocurrency Rate Loans shall be made or continued instead as Base Rate Loans (if possible), and all Base Rate Loans of such Lender that would otherwise be converted into Eurocurrency Rate Loans shall remain as Base Rate Loans. (d) If any Lender gives notice to the Borrower (with a copy to the Administrative Agent) that the circumstances specified in Sections 3.02, 3.03 or 3.04 hereof that gave rise to the conversion of any of such Lender’s Eurocurrency Rate Loans pursuant to this Section 3.06 no longer exist (which such Lender agrees to do promptly upon such circumstances ceasing to exist) at a time when Eurocurrency Rate Loans made by other Lenders under the applicable Facility are outstanding, if applicable, such Lender’s Base Rate Loans shall be automatically converted, on the first day(s) of the next succeeding Interest Period(s) for such outstanding Eurocurrency Rate Loans, to the extent necessary so that, after giving effect thereto, all Loans held by the Lenders holding Eurocurrency Rate Loans under such Facility and by such Lender are held pro rata (as to principal amounts, interest rate basis, and Interest Periods) in accordance with their respective Commitments for the applicable Facility.
