LOCAL UNION SCHOOL STAFF REPRESENTATIVES. 1. The Board recognizes staff representatives in each school selected by the NWTU to represent its members and agrees that staff representatives shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with while representing members. 2. The Board shall assume the cost of Teachers Teaching on Call (TTOCs) for the two (2) employee representatives on the grievance committee and the grievor in Article A.

LOCAL UNION SCHOOL STAFF REPRESENTATIVES. A.31.1. The Board recognizes one Local Union staff representative at each School, elected in accordance with Union procedures, and the Board shall be advised in writing as to the name of the representative. A.31.2. After receiving permission from the principal or designate, staff representatives may use a facility to conduct Union meetings before school, during noon hour, and after school. This shall not interfere with teacher duties as outlined in this Agreement. A.31.3. Where meetings between a principal or designate and a teacher concern disciplinary matters, then the teacher shall have the right to have or refuse to have the Local Union staff representative or another Local Union representative in attendance, and the principal or designate shall have the right to have another local administrative representative in attendance. A.31.4. It shall be the responsibility of the principal or designate to inform the teacher prior to a meeting that it concerns discipline.
LOCAL UNION SCHOOL STAFF REPRESENTATIVES. A16.1 The Board recognizes Staff Representatives in each school selected by the N.W.T.U. to represent its members and agrees that Staff Representatives shall not be hindered, coerced, restrained or interfered with while representing members. A16.2 The Board shall assume the cost of teachers on call for the two (2) teacher representatives on the grievance committee and the grievor in Article A6. Additional N.W.T.U. members may attend at the cost to the Union of Teacher(s) On Call. A16.3 When, as provided for in Article A14, a meeting with a teacher is to be held at which Union representation is to be present, the principal shall provide advance notice and schedule same at a time convenient to the parties and outside of instructional hours. In the event that such meeting, in extraordinary circumstances, must be held during instructional hours then the Board shall provide the necessary substitutes at its expense. A16.4 Staff Representatives shall schedule any business meetings of members of the Union outside of instructional hours. A16.5 The Executive Officers or Staff Representatives shall not hold discussions or meetings with a teacher or teachers at times when the teachers are assigned to a class.

  • Staff Representatives A. The Union will provide the Employer with a written list of staff representatives and the bargaining unit for which they are responsible. The Union will provide written notice to the Employer of any changes within thirty (30) calendar days of the changes. B. Staff representatives may have access to the Employer’s offices or facilities to carry out representational activities. The representatives will notify the Employer prior to their arrival and will not interrupt the normal operations of the Employer. The staff representative may meet with bargaining unit employees in non-work areas during the employee’s meal periods, rest periods, and before and after the employee’s shift. C. The Employer’s written Board of Trustee or administrative policies pertaining to employees represented by the Union will be made available to staff representatives.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Selection of Representatives a) Each central party and the Crown shall select its own representatives to the Committee.

  • Appointment of Representatives 11.01 The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint employees as Union Representatives. The Union will provide the Employer with the names of all Union Representatives within a reasonable period. 11.02 The Union shall determine the jurisdiction of each Union Representative, having regard to the plan of organization, the distribution of employees at the workplace and the administrative structure implied by the grievance procedure covered by this Agreement.

  • Contract Representatives The following will act as the representative authorized to administer activities under this Grant Agreement on behalf of their respective Party.

  • Authority of Representatives In all dealings hereunder, the Representatives of the Underwriters of the Designated Securities shall act on behalf of each of such Underwriters, and the parties hereto shall be entitled to act and rely upon any statement, request, notice or agreement on behalf of any Underwriter made or given by such Representatives jointly or by such of the Representatives, if any, as may be designated for such purpose in the Pricing Agreement.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Designation of Representatives 9.2.1 TxDOT and DB Contractor shall each designate Authorized Representative(s) who shall be authorized to make decisions and bind the Parties on matters relating to the Contract Documents. Exhibit 19 hereto provides the initial Authorized Representative designations. Such designations may be changed by a subsequent writing delivered to the other Party in accordance with Section 9.1. 9.2.2 The Parties may also designate technical representatives who shall be authorized to investigate and report on matters relating to the administration, design and construction of the Project and negotiate on behalf of each of the Parties, but who do not have authority to bind TxDOT or DB Contractor.
