Mandatory Attendance. When in-services are posted, the Employer will indicate whether attendance is mandatory. Time spent at mandatory in-services shall be considered as time worked and paid at the appropriate rate according to the provisions within Article 5. Management will make every attempt to not schedule mandatory education during a nurse’s normal sleep hours.
