Entrance Facilities. 7.3.1.1.1 Recurring and nonrecurring rates for Entrance Facilities are specified in Exhibit A and will apply for those DS1 or DS3 facilities dedicated to use by LIS. 7.3.1.1.2 If CLEC chooses to use an existing facility purchased as private line transport service from the Qwest state or FCC access Tariffs, the rates from those Tariffs will apply.

Entrance Facilities. ALEC Inc., may elect to place ALEC Inc.,-owned or ALEC Inc.,- leased fiber entrance facilities into the Collocation Space. BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection in close proximity to the Premises building housing the Collocation Space, such as an entrance manhole or a cable vault which are physically accessible by both Parties. ALEC Inc., will provide and place fiber cable at the point of entrance of sufficient length to be pulled through conduit and into the splice location. ALEC Inc., will provide and install a sufficient length of fire retardant riser cable, to which the entrance cable will be spliced by BellSouth, which will extend from the splice location to ALEC Inc.,’s equipment in the Collocation Space. In the event ALEC Inc., utilizes a non-metallic, riser-type entrance facility, a splice will not be required. ALEC Inc., must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable in the manhole. ALEC Inc., is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities. At ALEC Inc.,’s option BellSouth will accommodate where technically feasible a microwave entrance facility pursuant to separately negotiated terms and conditions. In the case of adjacent collocation, unless BellSouth determines that limited space is available for the entrance facilities, copper facilities may be used between the adjacent collocation arrangement and the central office demarcation point.
Entrance Facilities. Satcom may elect to place Satcom-owned entrance facilities into the Collocation Space. BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection in proximity to the central office building housing the Collocation Space, such as an entrance manhole or a cable vault. Satcom will provide and place cable at the point of interconnection of sufficient length to be pulled through conduit and into the splice location. No splicing will be permitted in the entrance manhole. Satcom will provide a sufficient length of fire retardant riser cable, to which the entrance cable will be spliced, which will extend from the splice location to the Satcom’s equipment in the Collocation Space. Satcom must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable in the manhole. Satcom is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities. Dual entrance will be permitted where capacity exists. The interconnection point for entrance facilities extending from a rooftop antenna will be designated by BellSouth on the Application/Inquiry response.

The nominal charge to the other Party for the use of the EF, as described in Exhibit A, shall be reduced by this initial relative use factor. Payments by the other Party will be according to this initial relative use factor for a minimum of one quarter. The initial relative use factor will continue for both xxxx reduction and payments until the Parties agree to a new factor, based upon actual minutes of use data for non-ISP-bound traffic to substantiate a change in that factor. If either Party demonstrates with non-ISP-bound traffic data that actual minutes of use during the first quarter justify a relative use factor other than fifty percent (50%), the Parties will retroactively true up first quarter charges. Once negotiation of a new factor is finalized, the xxxx reductions and payments will apply going forward, for a minimum of one quarter. Traffic delivered to Enhanced Service providers is interstate in nature. 7.3.1.2 Collocation 7.3.1.2.1 See Section 8 7.3.1.2.2 Intentionally Left Blank.

In the event WinStar utilizes a non-metallic, riser-type entrance facility, a splice will not be required. WinStar must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable in the manhole. WinStar is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities. At WinStar’s option BellSouth will accommodate where technically feasible a microwave entrance facility pursuant to separately negotiated terms and conditions attached hereto as Attachment A. In the case of adjacent collocation, unless BellSouth determines that limited space is available for the entrance facilities, copper facilities may be used between the adjacent collocation arrangement and the central office termination point.
Entrance Facilities. ALEC Inc., may elect to place ALEC Inc.,-owned or ALEC Inc.,- leased entrance facilities into the Remote Collocation Space from ALEC Inc.,’s point of presence. BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection at the Remote Site Location housing the Remote Collocation Space, which is physically accessible by both Parties. ALEC Inc., will provide and place copper cable through conduit from the Remote Collocation Space to the Feeder Distribution Interface to the splice location of sufficient length for splicing by BellSouth. ALEC Inc., must contact BellSouth for instructions prior to placing the entrance facility cable. ALEC Inc., is responsible for maintenance of the entrance facilities.

Entrance Facilities. ComSouth may elect to place ComSouth-owned or ComSouth leased fiber entrance facilities into its Collocation Space. BellSouth will designate the point of interconnection in close proximity to the BellSouth Premises housing the Collocation Space, such as at an entrance manhole or a cable vault for Central Offices, which is physically accessible by both Parties. For Central Offices, ComSouth will provide and place fiber cable in the entrance manhole of sufficient length to be pulled through conduit and into the splice location. ComSouth will provide and install a sufficient length of fire retardant riser cable, to which BellSouth will splice the entrance cable. The fire retardant riser cable will extend from the splice location to ComSouth’s equipment in ComSouth’s Collocation Space. In the event ComSouth utilizes a non-metallic, riser-type entrance facility, a splice will not be required. For Remote Terminals ComSouth will provide and place copper cable through conduit from the Remote Site Collocation Space to the feeder distribution interface. Such copper cable must be of sufficient length to reach the splice location for splicing by BellSouth. ComSouth must contact BellSouth for authorization and instruction prior to placing any entrance facility cable in an entrance manhole or cable vault. ComSouth is responsible for the maintenance of the entrance facilities. Nonrecurring charges for cable installation will be assessed on a per cable basis as set forth in Exhibit B upon receipt of ComSouth’s BFFO. Recurring charges for the cable support structure will be billed at the rates set forth in Exhibit B.
