Maternity/Adoption/Child Care Leave. a) In accordance with the Canada Labour Code an employee shall be granted maternity, adoption, and/or parental leave of absence without pay. b) Employees on maternity leave will continue to accrue annual vacation credits for up to two (2) months of the health related portion of their maternity leave and all of the voluntary portion of their maternity leave. c) Employees on maternity leave will continue to accrue sick leave credits while on the voluntary portion of their maternity leave.
