Maternity Leave Plan. “A” 1. Up to seventeen (17) weeks of Maternity Leave without pay will be granted subject to the following conditions: (a) The nurse must submit her written request for such leave of absence at least two (2) months before the intended date of the leave. (b) If requested by the nurse, unpaid Maternity Leave of shorter duration may be granted at the discretion of the Employer. (c) The Employer is entitled to require a nurse to stop work if, in the opinion of the Employer staff doctor in consultation with her own doctor, the state of her health becomes incompatible with the requirements of her job.

(cb) The Employer Hospital is entitled to require a nurse an employee to stop work if, in the opinion of the Employer Hospital staff doctor in consultation with her own doctor, the state of her health becomes incompatible with the requirements of her job.
