Common use of Maximum Accruals Clause in Contracts

Maximum Accruals. Vacation leave may be accumulated to a maximum of two hundred seventy-five hours (275). In emergency situations, the Employer or its designee may temporarily suspend the maximum number of hours which may be accumulated. Employees on a military leave shall earn and accrue vacation leave as though actually employed, without regard to the maximum accumulation set forth above. Vacation earned in excess of two hundred seventy-five (275) hours shall be taken within two (2) years of the date the employee returns from military service.
