Return to Unit. A regularly scheduled nurse floated from his or her unit 25 shall be the first considered to work in the nurse's unit if work subsequently becomes 26 available during the remainder of the shift provided replacement coverage is available. 28 ARTICLE 8 – COMPENSATION
Return to Unit. Any bargaining unit employee who accepts a non-bargaining unit position with the Facility will have no break in seniority provided that they are offered and accept a vacant bargaining unit position within ninety (90) days of the acceptance of the non-bargaining unit position.
Return to Unit. 21-1 An individual who has performed the type of work now performed by employees in the bargaining unit who is or was in the past transferred out of the unit, but not to another bargaining unit, may be returned by the University to the unit. In such a case the return shall be to a vacancy in the classification from which the employee was transferred, or if none, then to a vacancy in a classification in the same pay grade. If no vacancy exists, the return shall be by replacing the least senior employee in the classification from which the employee was transferred. However, an individual placed in the bargaining unit from another bargaining unit or non- bargaining unit shall not use their University seniority date for the purposes of Promotions and Transfers for twelve (12) calendar months.
Return to Unit. To ensure continuity of care for the patient, it is the 7 intent that a regularly scheduled nurse floated from his/her unit will finish his/her 8 assignment in the unit they floated to. A regularly scheduled nurse floated from 9 his/her unit may be returned to his/her home unit if their skills are needed for 10 patient care, as determined by house supervisor/management utilizing unit 11 guidelines and/or charge nurse request. 12 Four hour assignments will be minimized to maximize continuity of care 13 and xxxxxx a safe environment for patients/families/caregivers.
Return to Unit. Any employee who accepts an administrative or executive position and shall later return to his/her former status at the first vacancy available shall be entitled to retain such rights as he/she may have had under this Agreement prior to promotion to supervisory or executive status.
Return to Unit. In the event a unit member is transferred or elects to transfer to a non-unit position within the Saginaw School District and then is subsequently returned or elects to return to a bargaining unit. S/he must return within 18 months, upon return, have the status of a seniority employee. The provisions of this section shall apply retroactively to presently-employed, non-bargaining units in the Saginaw School District providing they were once members of the Local 517M bargaining unit.
Return to Unit. Subject to management approval, bargaining unit members who transfer out of the unit may be transferred back into a Pro-Tech vacancy for which they are qualified. This preferential consideration ceases after they have been out of the Pro Tech unit for three (3) years or for a period of time equal to the amount of bargaining unit seniority they had when they left the unit, whichever is less (see Article 7, Section 1(D)(5) for more detail).
Return to Unit. Any tenured faculty member who assumes another position at the College may request to return to the bargaining unit provided that (1) a position for which the individual is competent to render services is available, (2) the individual is not subject to an institutional due process or termination proceeding which could result in discharge or demotion, and (3) the Board approves the request. Upon return to the bargaining unit, the faculty member shall assume the same rank and compensation that applied upon the faculty member's departure from the bargaining unit, such compensation to be adjusted by any increases to faculty base compensation since such departure. The faculty member shall assume the seniority held at the time of such departure. For promotion purposes, if the faculty member shall have been employed for less than five years in a non-teaching position, then the faculty member shall be credited toward the next promotion with the time in rank prior to moving to the non-teaching employment. The Board agrees to notify the Association leadership when a return to the unit is being considered.
Return to Unit. When an employee leaves his regular unit to fill a position in another unit, staying within the Department, that employee may return to his original unit at the same rate of pay as when he left, at the Employer's discretion.
