Meal Breaks for Day Workers. 21.1.1. An employee shall not be required to work for more than five hours without a break for a meal. Provided that by agreement between the Company and an individual employee, an employee or employees may be required to work in excess of five hours but not more than six hours without a meal break.

  • Meal Breaks (a) An employee who works in excess of five hours will be entitled to an unpaid meal break of not less than 30 minutes and not more than 60 minutes.
