Measurements and Verification Methods. The Contractor shall use the following methods to measure and verify utility savings throughout the Term of this Agreement. FEDERAL M&V OPTIONS: M&V Option Performance and Usage Factors Savings Calculation Option A – Estimated and Short-Term Measured Factors Based on a combination of measured and estimated factors. Measurements are spot or short-term taken at the component or system level. Estimated (non-measured) factors are supported by historical or manufacturer’s data. Engineering calculations, component or system models. Option B – Periodically or continuously Measured and Estimated Factors Based on periodic or continuous measurements taken at the component or system level when variations in factors are expected. Spot or short-term measurements may suffice when variations in factors are not expected Engineering calculations, component or system models. Option C – Utility Billing Data Analysis Based on long-term whole-building utility meter, facility level, or sub-meter data. Based on regression analysis of utility billing meter data to account for factors that drive energy use. Option D – Calibrated Computer Simulation Computer simulation inputs may be based on a combination of the following: reasonable assumptions based on historical data gathered at facilities, performance specifications of equipment of system being installed, engineering estimates, spot, short-term or long term measurements of systems components, and long-term whole- building utility meter data. Based on computer simulation model calibrated with whole-building or end- se metered data or both. Besides the Initial Payment, monthly xxxxxxxx will be based upon actual work completed and/or materials & equipment for which orders are pending. All values are based upon the total Contract Amount.   • MEASUREMENT AND VERIFICATION The goal of this task is to report the benefits resulting from this project by performing measurement and verification (M&V) of fossil fuel consumption and associated GHG reduction. • Enter into agreement with M&V subcontractor per Task 1.9 • Coordinate site visits with the M&V subcontractor at the demonstration site(s) • Develop M&V protocol for pre-installation measurements (and calculations): o Electric, natural gas and/or other fossil fuel consumption and GHG emissions (use appropriate emissions factor from Attachment 8 of the grant solicitation) of the equipment/process/system(s)/sub-system(s) that are to be upgraded and/or replaced and/or modified. o Ensure installation of sub-metering equipment and data loggers for pre/post data analysis. • Prepare and provide a detailed M&V Plan for each project demonstration site to include but not be limited to: o A description of the monitoring equipment and instrumentation which will be used. o A description of the key input parameters and output metrics which will be measured. o A description of the M&V protocol and analysis methods to be employed. o A description of the independent, third-party M&V services to be employed, if applicable. • Perform three months (or shorter period as approved in writing by the CAM) of pre- installation measurements (and calculations) based on the M&V protocol for pre- installation. • Prepare and provide a Pre-Installation M&V Findings Report for the demonstration site that includes M&V protocol, pre-install measurements (and calculations), analysis, and results performed in this task. • Develop M&V protocol for post-installation measurements (and calculations) of: o Electric, natural gas and/or other fossil fuel consumption and GHG emissions (use appropriate emissions factor from Attachment 8 of the grant solicitation) of the equipment/process/system(s)/sub-system(s) that will be upgraded and/or replaced and/or modified • Perform 12 months or two seasons, for seasonal facilities, (or shorter period as approved in writing by the CAM) of post-installation measurements based on M&V protocol for post-installation. • Provide a summary of post-installation M&V progress in Progress Report(s) (see subtask 1.5) which shall include but not be limited to:

  • Construction Methods 3.1 The Contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor and work for the excavation and removal of the unsuitable subgrade soils and their subsequent replacement with the specified backfill soils as directed by the Owner’s representative. All work under this item shall be performed in a safe and workmanlike manner. 3.2 All work shall be performed in accordance with DelDOT Standard Specifications Section 821. 3.3 Following the removal of existing pavements, the Owner’s representative will review the exposed subgrade and provide recommendations for the undercutting of unsuitable subgrade materials as required. The depth and extent of undercut excavation, if required, will be determined by the Owner’s representative at the time of excavation. 3.4 All excavated materials shall become the property of the Contractor and be removed from the site at the completion of the project at no additional expense to the Owner. 3.5 Undercut excavations should be backfilled with graded aggregate. Backfill shall be placed in loose lifts not exceeding 8 inches thick. Each lift should be compacted with at least 3 passes of a minimum 5-ton, walk-behind or self-propelled vibratory roller when the size of the area permits, or with a vibrating plate mechanical compactor for smaller areas. Lift thickness shall be reduced to 6 inch loose lift when using a vibratory plate compactor. 3.6 The Contractor shall take precautions as necessary to minimize the potential for disturbance or softening of the pavement subgrade materials from inclement weather or construction traffic. As a minimum, this shall include the placement of backfill on the same day as the excavation. Any soft areas which develop shall be undercut and replaced with graded aggregate at no additional cost to the Owner. 3.7 Where undercutting is performed, the geotextile fabric shall be installed. The fabric should be pulled tight and lapped a minimum of 12 inches.

  • Testing Procedure Limitations The Asset Representations Reviewer will only be required to perform the testing procedures listed under “Tests” in Schedule A, and will have no obligation to perform additional procedures on any Subject Lease or to provide any information other than a Review Report indicating for each Subject Lease whether there was a Test Pass or a Test Fail for each Test, or whether the Subject Lease was a Test Complete and the related reason. However, the Asset Representations Reviewer may provide additional information about any Subject Lease that it determines in good faith to be material to the Review.

  • Forecasting Requirements 19.5.1 The Parties shall exchange technical descriptions and forecasts of their Interconnection and traffic requirements in sufficient detail necessary to establish the Interconnections necessary for traffic completion to and from all Customers in their respective designated service areas.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.6.1 Telepak Networks will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. Telepak Networks must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non-designed unbundled Loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. Upon request from BellSouth at the time of the trouble report, Telepak Networks will be required to provide the results of the Telepak Networks test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided Loop. 2.1.6.2 Once Telepak Networks has isolated a trouble to the BellSouth provided Loop, and had issued a trouble report to BellSouth on the Loop, BellSouth will take the actions necessary to repair the Loop if a trouble actually exists. BellSouth will repair these Loops in the same time frames that BellSouth repairs similarly situated Loops to its End Users. 2.1.6.3 If Telepak Networks reports a trouble on a non-designed or designed Loop and no trouble actually exists, BellSouth will charge Telepak Networks for any dispatching and testing (both inside and outside the CO) required by BellSouth in order to confirm the Loop’s working status. 2.1.6.4 In the event BellSouth must dispatch to the end-user’s location more than once due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by Telepak Networks (e.g., incomplete address, incorrect contact name/number, etc.), BellSouth will xxxx Xxxxxxx Networks for each additional dispatch required to repair the circuit due to the incorrect/incomplete information provided. BellSouth will assess the applicable Trouble Determination rates from BellSouth’s FCC or state tariffs.

  • Testing Requirements 12.1. Workplaces - 12.2. On workplaces where the value of the Commonwealth’s contribution to the project that includes the building work is at least $5,000,000, and represents at least 50% of the total construction project value or the Commonwealth’s contribution to the project that includes the building work is at least $10,000,000 (irrespective of its proportion of the total construction project value) the following minimum testing requirements must be adhered to.

  • Testing Procedures Testing will be conducted by an outside certified Agency in such a way to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability by using the techniques, chain of custody procedures, equipment and laboratory facilities which have been approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. All employees notified of a positive controlled substance or alcohol test result may request an independent test of their split sample at the employee’s expense. If the test result is negative the Employer will reimburse the employee for the cost of the split sample test.
