Time Off for Selection Procedures A regular, limited-term or probationary employee shall be entitled to necessary time off with pay to participate in tests of fitness, examinations and interviews required by the Chief Human Resources Officer during working hours for the purpose of determining eligibility for movement to another class in the County service or transfer from one agency/department to another.
Random Testing Notwithstanding any provisions of the Collective Agreement or any special agreements appended thereto, section 4.6 of the Canadian Model will not be applied by agreement. If applied to a worker dispatched by the Union, it will be applied or deemed to be applied unilaterally by the Employer. Accumulation of Annual Leave A. During the first three (3) years of employment, a regular or limited term employee shall earn approximately five (5) hours and fifty-one (51) minutes of annual leave during each eighty (80) hour pay period (approximately one hundred fifty-two [152] hours per year), or a prorated amount for any pay period in which the employee is paid for less than eighty (80) hours.
