Accumulation of Leave. ESL is cumulative to a maximum of thirty (30) working days (240 hours), after which time no additional leave may be earned until the leave balance is reduced through use of leave hours. An employee cannot have more than 240 hours of ESL credit in the bank at any time. The maximum ESL balance shall be pro-rated for employees who regularly work less than forty (40) hours per week.
Accumulation of Leave. 1. The unit employee's anniversary date (date of original benefited employment adjusted for breaks in service) shall determine the category of leave accumulation.
2. Unit employees shall continue to accumulate vacation and sick leave when on authorized leave with pay of any kind.
Accumulation of Leave. Annual vacation leave may be accumulated to a total not to exceed two times the maximum number of days earned annually as of the last day of any calendar year. However, excess vacation time is not forfeited if taken within 90 calendar days from December 31st of the year in which the excess was accrued.
Accumulation of Leave. This unpaid medical leave will be approved on a school year basis and may be renewed, but in no event will extend for more than two (2) school years.
Accumulation of Leave. Annual leave is cumulative; however, it is agreed that when an employee accrues an excessive amount of leave the Employer may compel the employee to take apportion of their leave. For the purposes of this clause, excessive leave accumulation is that of two months or more. In the event that an employee has excessive leave the Employer may compel the employee to take two weeks of their accumulation. If the Employer intends to compel an employee to take leave the Employer will provide that employee with a minimum of four weeks written notice. Nothing in this clause prevents the Employer and an employee from agreeing to a greater accumulation of annual leave.
Accumulation of Leave. If a bargaining unit member does not take the full amount of illness or injury leave allowed in any school year under this Article, the amount not taken shall be accumulated from year to year.
Accumulation of Leave. Paid personal leave is cumulative i.e. unused personal leave accumulates from year to year. An employee is entitled to use accumulated personal leave if the current year’s personal leave entitlement has been exhausted.
Accumulation of Leave. Unused sick leave shall accrue from academic year to academic year.
Accumulation of Leave. If a unit member does not utilize the full amount of leave as authorized in Section 10.2.1 and 10.2.2 above in any academic year, the amount not utilized shall be accumulated from year to year.
Accumulation of Leave. A. The Office of Human Resources shall maintain an account of days of allowance for absence for each faculty member, based upon information reported by their immediate supervisor. The new annual allowance shall be posted on each faculty member's account no later than the end of business on the first business day of September of the academic year in which the allowance shall apply.
B. After absence of five (5) working days for personal illness, or as it may deem necessary in other cases, the College may require a physician's certificate as a basis for compensation during leave.
