Common use of Medical Confirmation Clause in Contracts

Medical Confirmation. Sick leave shall only be utilized when an illness prevents an employee from attending work. Employees who are absent because of sickness may be required to prove sickness. Under certain circumstances, failure to meet this requirement may lead to disciplinary action. Where the Employer requires an employee to produce a medical certificate the Employer shall pay for the receipted cost of the medical certificate.
