Medical Eligibility Requirement. A certificate from a duly recognized medical practitioner, stating that the employee is unable to perform his/her duties and indicating the probable duration of the illness would be required for any absence of more than three (3) consecutive working days, or for one (1) working day prior to or following a paid holiday, which is to be charged as sick leave. The required certificate(s) must be provided within seven (7) working days of the day(s) of disability or the uncertified days of absence will be charged as leave without pay.
