Membership Deduction. Membership enrollment forms will be provided to each new employee at the time of hire. Membership deduction shall remain in effect from year to year, unless the employee informs the Washington Education Association in writing of the desire to withdraw or change membership status. In the event an Association member is granted a leave of absence without pay, the authorization shall be temporarily suspended, and reactivated upon the employee’s return to work following the leave of absence.

Membership Deduction. Within ten (10) days of their commencement of employment, teachers may sign and deliver to the District Business Office an Assignment of Wages Form which is attached hereto and incorporated in this Agreement, which form shall authorize deduction of membership dues and assessments of the Association (including the National Education Association and the Washington Education Association). Such authorization shall continue in effect from year to year unless a request of revocation is submitted to the Board and the Association, signed by the teacher, and received between September 1 and September 30, proceeding the designated school year, for which revocation is to take effect.

If the enrollment form is not submitted within 30 days the employee will automatically be considered a representative fee payer.   • Membership Dues Association membership dues, as explicitly approved by the Trustees;

  • Union Deductions All employees who are covered by the certification with the Union shall, as a condition of continuing employment, authorize a deduction from their pay cheques of the amount of the dues, levies and assessments payable to the Union by a member of the Union. The Employer shall provide a copy of the authorization form, which has been forwarded by the Union, to each new employee. Upon receipt of written notice from the Union, the Employer shall terminate the services of any employee who does not authorize the deduction as above. The Employer agrees to deduct the amount of the Union dues, levies and assessments payable to the Union by an employee in the Union’s bargaining unit. The Employer shall supply each employee, without charge, a receipt for income tax purposes shown on the T4 slip in the amount of the deductions paid to the Union by the employee in the previous year. Such receipts shall be provided to the employee prior to March 1 of the succeeding year. Deductions for levies and assessments shall be a percentage of wages.

  • Membership Benefits The Provider’s consultations are thirty (30) minutes in duration. This is a single consultation. As a member of this programme, you will receive either a functional medicine assessment or mandatory health appraisal, with the Provider. This is a double consultation and equates to two (2) single consultations in length, namely sixty (60) minutes. Further consultations will be either single or double, at the Provider’s discretion. The first follow-up consultation will generally be a double consultation.   • Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:

  • Union Dues Deduction The Company will deduct union dues from new employees who have worked a minimum of forty (40) hours.

  • Membership Fees 59.01 The Employer shall reimburse an employee for the payment of membership or registration fees to an organization or governing body when the payment of such fees is a requirement for the continuation of the performance of the duties of the employee’s position.

  • PROFITS/LOSSES For financial accounting and tax purposes, the Company's net profits or net losses shall be determined on an annual basis and shall be allocated to the Members in proportion to each Member's relative capital interest in the Company as set forth in Schedule 2 as amended from time to time in accordance with U.S. Department of the Treasury Regulation 1.704-1.
