Merit Pay Increase. (a) Employees, who hold a position for which there is a minimum and maximum rate of pay, shall be granted a salary increment, each year until they reach the maximum step in range for that position. Such salary increments are subject to satisfactory performance of the duties of the position by the employee and shall not be granted to the employee until their Department Head certifies to the Senior Administrative Officer that the employee is so performing the duties of the position.
