Middle School and High School Teachers. Middle School and High School Teachers will be provided no less than 300 minutes of individual preparation time in a normal week. Any preparation time shall be scheduled within the Instructional day (defined in Article VI, Section 5) and shall be in addition to the lunch period.

Hired Before July 1, 2003 Hired After June 30, 2003 Self Scheduled – The teacher shall log five hours of unpaid professional development outside of the work day. Administrator Assigned – Administration may schedule up to fifteen hours of unpaid professional development outside the work day.
