Common use of Military and War Leave Clause in Contracts

Military and War Leave. An employee who is a member of the National Guard, of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard Reserve shall be entitled to a Leave of Absence for military training for a period of not more than fifteen (15) workdays (pro-rated for part-time employees) in any calendar year without loss of pay or charge to any leave. Leave due to call-up to active military duty during a national or international crisis or conflict shall be in accordance with the University System of Maryland policy.
