Common use of Military Leave for Active Duty Clause in Contracts

Military Leave for Active Duty. 1. Any full time employee, employed by Rutgers for one year or more, who is a member of the military (including the National Guard) shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay on all days during which he or she shall be engaged in any period of State or Federal active duty, not exceeding ninety (90) work days in the aggregate in any calendar year. Any leave of absence for such duty in excess of ninety (90) work days shall be without pay but without loss of time as set forth in paragraph 2d below. Any leave of absence for such duty for a full time employee of Rutgers of less than one year shall be without pay but without loss of time as set forth in paragraph 2d below.
