Common use of MINIMUM CALL-IN Clause in Contracts

MINIMUM CALL-IN. 10.01 An employee who is called in to work and reports to work on a day when they are not scheduled to work shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the applicable rate. If no work or insufficient work is available, said employee will be paid the four (4) hours at the applicable hourly rate of pay. 10.02 An employee who is called in to work outside of their regularly scheduled hours on a day when they are scheduled to work shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours for the call-in at the applicable rate whenever there is a break of more than thirty (30) minutes between the employee’s scheduled hours and the work the employee is called in to do. 10.03 The Employer shall not schedule employees for less than three (3) hours in any one (1) day. An employee who reports for a scheduled shift that is three (3) hours or more shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours for the shift at the applicable hourly rate. 10.04 Articles 10.01 and 10.02 and 10.03 do not apply to sessions/meetings held by the Employer pursuant to Article 16.01.
