Minor suspension (16 hours or less) without pay. Records of Minor Suspensions shall cease to have force and effect twenty-four (24) months from the date of issuance, providing there are no intervening disciplinary actions taken during that time period. (At the option of the employee, and the concurrence of the Employer, accrued vacation, holiday time or compensatory time may be forfeited equal to the length of the suspension. Record of suspension will be maintained.)
