Miscellaneous Pay. It is understood that no employee will suffer a wage decrease because of the Agreement. Any employee presently receiving an increment above the rates shall maintain the increment throughout the life of this Agreement. It is also understood that any qualified employee who performs the duties of an employee in a higher category shall be paid the rate in the higher category for all hours worked. The rate of pay not to be less than the six-month rate shown in the wage schedule. When an employee performs the duties of a lower category, the employee shall retain his/her rate for all time spent performing the duty of the lower rated category. Payday shall be every second Friday. However, the employer will endeavour to pay the employees on the second Thursday in accordance with Schedule “A” attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each payday, each employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of his/her wages and deductions. Should a holiday occur on a payday, then the preceding day shall be deemed to be payday for the purpose of this Agreement. The Employer will make every effort to directly deposit the pay in the account at the institution chosen by the employee.

Miscellaneous Pay. Employees are compensated for extra duty assignments as set forth in " in the Extra Duty Stipend Schedule attached as Appendix C. Compensation paid for extra duty assignments shall be paid in equal monthly installments as the work is performed.
