Missed Meal Breaks. If an employee is authorized to work, during the lunch break, due to the requirements of patient care, he will be paid his regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked. Notwithstandingthis provision, he will be paid time and one-half (1 his regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of the normal or standard work day. (Note: Any other related to Hours of Work and Overtime that existed in the expiring Collective Agreement will be continued and numbered in sequence as provisions of this Article, except such provisions related to scheduling which will be continued in the Local Provisions Appendix).
