Mixed Lecture/Laboratory. A portion of class time is devoted to lecturing and preparing students for experiential and/or project-based learning activities; the remainder of the time is spent guiding and assisting students who are working on those activities. The instructor spends additional time outside of class designing learning materials, strategies, and assignments, assessing student progress, up-dating course curriculum, and working with students.
