Student Progress. When You opt-in to the student progress feature in the Apple School Manager web portal, student progress will be recorded and reported to the ClassKit framework. Only activities assigned by Your teachers using Schoolwork will initiate the recording and reporting of student progress information.Your student End Users will be able to view their own student progress information in Schoolwork and in Settings on their device. Your teacher End Users will be able to view the student progress information of all students in their class for activities they assign. Student data created through Your use of Schoolwork or ClassKit will be treated in accordance with Section 3 and Exhibit A of this Agreement. If You opt-out a Managed Apple ID from the student progress feature, all Personal Data associated with that Managed Apple ID will be deleted in accordance with Section 3.

Student Progress. 1. Teachers must update the District’s electronic grade book system to keep parents informed of their child’s current academic progress.
2. When students are not making adequate academic progress (i.e. failing grades), a record of communication with parents will be maintained.
Student Progress. The Board and the Association recognize that the ability of students to progress and mature academically is a combined result of school, home, economic and social environment. Teachers shall be held accountable for providing the opportunity for academic achievement of the students in the classroom. The Board and the Association recognize that the regular attendance by a teacher is important for the continuous instruction of students. A teacher’s abuse of sick leave or other leaves such as excessive tardiness or absence, as evidenced by a pattern of behavior, shall be handled as a disciplinary matter.
Student Progress. Use of a range of assessment methods. * Regular monitoring and recording of student progress against the National Achievement Objectives. * Use is made of student assessment to identify levels of achievement for analysis of possible barriers to learning. Strategies are to be developed and implemented which address identified learning needs to overcome these barriers. * Appropriate in-class support is to be provided to those having special needs to ensure success in learning. * High level of teacher performance will be maintained through personal, planning group and school-wide goal setting and the professional development programme * Educational resources, available within the school, are expected to be effectively use to enhance learning. * Where appropriate specialist resource personnel will be available to support and develop special programmes.
Student Progress. Student progress may be monitored on a regular basis throughout the school year. Via PowerSchool, parents/ guardians may view the details of their child’s grades, attendance and other areas. Parent/guardians who have no Internet access must notify their child’s counselor so reports may be generated mid-quarter. Report cards are distributed at the end of the school year. Student progress may be viewed at any time throughout the school year through PowerSchool. Please contact the Counseling department for a hard copy record of progress if necessary. Home Instruction is available for any student who will be out of school for an extended period of time - three weeks or more. Since it takes a minimum of ten days S P E C I A L S E R V I C E S to set-up tutors for home instruction, a student who will be out of school for two weeks or less will not be able to receive home instruction. Students may access assignments through the school’s homework page or by emailing their teachers. For students on Home Instruction the procedure is as follows: - Parent must sign 407-1 form - Doctor’s note must be available stating condition and approximate length of time student will be out of school - The Counseling Department sends these forms to the Middlesex Regional County Educational Commission for processing. The Commission provides tutors in as timely a fashion as possible. If a student is institutionalized, the 407-1 form must be signed by the parent and will be sent to the MCED by the Counseling Department. The institution will then make all necessary arrangements for instruction with the MCED. In all cases of home instruction, the Counseling Department will request material from teachers. However, the family is responsible for picking up any and all materials from the Counseling Department and returning completed work. The home instructor (tutor) is responsible for grading all work which he/she teaches and will provide such grades to the Counseling Department. Grades received from the tutor will be incorporated into the classroom teachers’ grades for the student.
Student Progress. A student’s progress is monitored by the class teacher through weekly homework, class quizzes and topic exams. All marks are recorded and stored. Student marks will be e-mailed to parents at regular intervals. If a parent wishes to receive updates on a student’s progress, Ngo and Sons recommends parents/guardians communicate directly with the class teacher. The class teacher will provide a more detailed and constructive feedback with regards to a student’s progress, focusing on not only the student’s xxxx but also the student’s behaviour in class. Parents are to speak to reception to organise a time to meet with the class teacher. The meeting will take place before or after a student’s class if time permits.
Student Progress. If the Student does not make sufficient progress, the participation of the Student in the EMJM-MASS and hence any scholarship payment may be terminated, on the basis of the Executive Board xxxxxxxxxx.Xx is strongly recommended that ECTS/examinations are completed by the end of the current semester.
Student Progress. Parents can monitor the progress of their student’s school work via Blackbaud Family Access. A link to Blackbaud Family Access can be found on our King’s Way Christian Schools web site: xxx.xxxx.xxx. User IDs and Passwords can be emailed to you via the system at the login page. The school posts grades at the semester. Parents can expect to see an unofficial transcript posted to Blackbaud Family Access approximately 10 days after the end of each grading period. If you have a question concerning a grade, student and parents should contact the teacher who assigned the grade. If you are not satisfied at this point, you can then discuss the matter with the Academic Director. No credit is earned for a "Failure" or "Withdrawal" grade. A teacher may give an "INC" (incomplete) when course work is not finished because of illness or other unusual circumstances. A student will have two weeks to complete the work required to change the “INC” to a permanent grade. If extenuating circumstances exist, an appeal to the Academic Director for more time can be filed. Any student at King’s Way Christian High School who fails a required course for a semester will be required to repeat that semester of the course. Students with a grade below a "C" will be permitted to repeat a course in an effort to improve their course knowledge. Credit will be issued for repeating the class to the extent of replacing a grade, however, only one course will count for credit. (Note: Colleges will typically not replace a grade but rather include both grades in the GPA calculation.) Student must earn 24 credits to graduate. One-half credit is given for each semester class. Credit for course completion is earned by passing with a “D” grade or above. Some King’s Way high school courses require a higher grade to fulfill enrollment prerequisites. Colleges may require a higher grade when evaluating for admission.
