Common use of Monitoring Equipment Clause in Contracts

Monitoring Equipment. Should equipment for monitoring fire systems and/or security systems be deemed necessary by Tenant or be required for the Demised Premises by federal, state, or local governing agencies because of Tenant’s equipment, the nature of Tenant’s business, or Tenant’s modification of the Demised Premises, Tenant shall be responsible for installation of such monitoring system, for any required building permits, monthly monitoring fees, and any fines, penalties or other charges for false alarms. Should such monitoring systems be otherwise required by federal, state, or local governing agencies, or deemed by Landlord to be advisable for the operation of the Building, Landlord shall be responsible for installation of such monitoring systems, and all costs and expenses relating thereto shall be included as Common Facilities Charges.
