Mounting Heights. Where mounting heights are not indicated, mount components at heights directed by Architect.
Mounting Heights. Where mounting heights are not indicated, the Construction Manager shall mount individual units at industry recognized standard mounting heights for the particular application indicated; and, refer questionable mounting height choices to the Consultant for final decision.
Mounting Heights. A. Mounting heights to the center of the box above finished floor for the items listed below shall be as follows, unless otherwise shown. All other device mounting heights shall be as shown on the drawings. All devices shall be mounted in accordance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.
B. Flush tumbler switches 48"
C. Switches in concrete block 46"
D. Switches over wainscot 6" above 48" wainscot E. Convenience outlets 18" mounted vertically with ground prong slot at bottom F. Safety switches 54"
Mounting Heights a) Unless otherwise specified, switches shall generally be mounted at 1,4m above finished floor level to the underside of the switch.
b) Where switches are located on walls near a change of wall finish, e.g. on tilted, face brick, or wood paneled dadoes, they shall be positioned so that the cover plates fall completely within one or other of the surfaces, but not on the junction line of the different finishes. The Contractor shall liaise with the relevant other trades to ensure that switches on surfaces present a neat appearance.
c) Switches in locations meant for persons in wheelchairs (paraplegic toilets etc.) shall be mounted at 1,1m above finished floor level to underside.
Mounting Heights. Unless otherwise required SSOs shall be mounted at the following heights from finished floor/surface level to the bottom of the outlet. Flush outlets, generally : 0, 3 m Garages, factories and workshops : 1,4m (SP & TP units) Kitchens and tea rooms : 1,0m Above work surfaces (Kitchens : 0,2m (SP only) and Offices)
Mounting Heights. (a) Mounting height of equipment is given from finished floor to top of equipment.
(b) Exact mounting height of unnoted equipment must be verified with Contract Administrator before proceeding with installation.
(c) Install electrical equipment at heights listed below unless otherwise indicated. (All heights in millimetres from finished floor unless indicated):
(i) Local Switches: 1420
(ii) Wall Receptacles: 450
(iii) Lighting Panels: 1800
(iv) Cabinets: 1800
(v) Emergency Lights: 2400 (minimum)
(d) All dimensions indicated are to the top above finished floor elevations.
Mounting Heights. (1) As originally designed, the centerline of the toilet paper dispenser (drawing A0.1) was located 36 inches from the rear wall. Modify the design so that the centerline of the toilet paper dispenser is within 36 inches of the rear wall. § 4.16.6.
(2) As originally designed, the cabinets/counters shown in drawing A0.1 are too high. Modify the design of the cabinet/counters so that the counters are no more than 34 inches above the finish floor. §§ 4.2.6, Fig. 6(c), 4.25.3.
(3) The drawing on sheet A0.1 did not indicate the distance from the finish floor to the bottom of the reflective surface of the mirror. Ensure that the bottom of the reflective surface of the mirror is no more than 40 inches above the finish floor. § 4.19.6.
(4) The drawing on sheet A0.1 did not indicate whether the flush valve handle was on the side away from the wall/partition. Ensure that the design calls for the flush valve handle to be located on the side away from the wall/partition to comply with the Standards. § 4.16.5.
Mounting Heights. Unless specifically designated, the mounting height above the floor of wall-mounted equipment shall be as follows:
