THE COVER. If an incident involving the Insured Vehicle occurs both within the Period of Insurance and within the Territorial Limits which results in Total Loss under Your Motor Insurance Policy, this insurance will pay any financial shortfall (whichever the greater) that exists between the amount that You receive from the Motor Insurance Policy and the purchase invoice price of the Insured Vehicle and;
THE COVER. We cover you for physical loss of or damage to the subject matter covered, liability or expense on conditions as set out in the statement of cover and below.
THE COVER. 2.1. We will throughout the Term provide the Cover as set out in this clause 2 using reasonable care and skill.
2.2. Only the following types of DCHB are included within the Cover
2.2.1. domestic central heating boilers
2.2.2. combination boilers; and
2.2.3. system boilers
2.3. All appliances must be installed within a domestic Property and function properly as certified by Us following the Initial Inspection.
2.4. Subject to exclusions above and those set out in clause 4 the Cover shall consist of:
2.4.1. a Service of Your DCHB
2.4.2. repair and replacement of parts or any defective internal components if supplied by Us
2.4.3. effective remedy of faults that are specific to the DCHB or Central Heating System.
THE COVER. We cover you for your liability in respect of claims made or instituted against you by cargo owners and/ or the party bearing the risk of loss in and to the goods, from physical loss of or damage to the subject matter covered whilst in transit as set out in the statement of cover. Where no carriage agreement exists, the participant’s liability in respect of loss of or damage to the subject matter will be considered on a common law liability basis, however, within the ambits of this agreement. The cover only applies to transits that commence during the period of cover specified in the statement of cover or during any subsequent period that we have accepted payment.
THE COVER. Subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions contained in this policy we will pay for the following occurring during the period of insurance. Underwriters will at their option pay to replace or repair loss of or physical damage to the craft and equipment up to the maximum sums shown in your schedule arising from ALL RISKS of external accidental causes including: fire, collision, transit, falling trees/branches/tiles, vandalism, storm, flood, grounding, sinking, theft of craft and following forcible entry or removal by force theft of gear and equipment; whilst ashore, in transit or sailed on inland and coastal waters of the United Kingdom + after transit by road/rail/ship or plane thereto coastal and inland waters of CI/IoM/Ireland and continental European countries up to 90 days a year. Total loss of entire craft the sum which Underwriters will pay is limited to the new cost up to Maximum Sum Insured in schedule for craft up to 12 months old or current market value, if lower, thereafter. Underwriters retain the right to decide what repairer or supplier is used and must be allowed to agree estimates first and will then pay the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing like for like items lost or damaged from an insured peril up to the scheduled sums less applicable policy excess but covers and perishable items may be subject to new for old deduction of 10% a year up to a maximum of 50%. THE COVER. Subject to payment of the premium, the Insurer will pay any excess due to be paid by You under the terms of your Rental Agreement following any valid insurance claim for damage to or loss of the Rental Vehicle occurring within the Territorial Limits up to a maximum of 1 claim in any one Rental Period.

If during an Insured Journey an Insured Person becomes involved in a Life-threatening Situation the Company will reimburse the Insured in respect of the costs necessarily incurred to employ the services of the Company’s security services provider Drum Cussac in extricating the Insured Person from such Life-threatening Situation up to the appropriate Sum Insured in respect of any one Insured Person subject to the Incident Limit as detailed in the Schedule Any situation or event occurring on an Insured Journey where the Company’s security services provider Drum Cussac agree that the Insured Person’s life is potentially in danger in respect of any claim as a result of If the departure (both original and subsequent) of the means of transport on which an Insured Person is booked to travel on an Insured Journey is delayed as a direct and necessary result of any cause outside the Insured or the Insured Person’s control the Company will compensate the Insured on behalf of the Insured Person concerned for the inconvenience caused subject to the Incident Limit as detailed in the Schedule If during an Insured Journey or the 120 hours immediately preceding its commencement the Insured Person loses or damages their passport visa travel tickets or other essential travel documents the Company will reimburse the Insured on behalf of the Insured Person for the necessary additional cost of travel and accommodation and other costs necessarily incurred to enable the Insured Person to obtain replacement documents up to £2,000 any one Insured Person Over the phone preventative advice to help an Insured Person to safeguard their identity including guidance on measures to take to re-establish identity and credit rating.

THE COVER. The Phoenix will appoint a lawyer for the insured under this cover who will defend them in criminal proceedings which are filed against them due to an insured event which occurs during the period of insurance other than offences in which there is an option to pay a fine.

If during the Operative Time the Insured Person sustains bodily injury following an Accident which within two years is the sole and independent cause of Death or Disablement the Company will pay to the Insured the appropriate Benefit shown in the Schedule subject to the Maximum Incident Limit (and inner limits where applicable) as detailed in the Schedule The amount payable for Benefit 3 shall be a percentage of the amount shown in the Schedule The following scale states the percentages applicable to the forms of disablement specified For forms of permanent disablement not specified the degree of disability will be assessed by comparison with the percentages shown in the scale without taking into account the Insured Person’s occupation The appropriate percentage shall be applied to the amount for Benefit 3 shown in the Schedule or to the Limit per Person under Benefit 3 whichever is the lesser
