Installer. A worker who is able to perform connection, construction, installation and service work from the subscriber terminal up to and including the tap plate. The ability to change tap plate is restricted to IBEW Installers.

Use of titles such as "carpentry" is not intended to imply that certain construction activities shall be performed by accredited or unionized individuals of a corresponding generic name, such as "xxxxxxxxx". It also does not imply that requirements specified apply exclusively to tradespersons of the corresponding generic name.

c. Certain sections of the Specifications require that specific construction activities shall be performed by specialists who are recognized experts in the operations to be performed. The specialists shall be engaged for those activities, and assignments are requirements over which the Design-Builder has no choice or option. Nevertheless, the ultimate responsibility for fulfilling Contract requirements remains with the Design-Builder.
(1) This requirement shall not be interpreted to conflict with enforcement of building codes and similar regulations governing the Work. It is also not intended to interfere with local trade union jurisdictional settlements and similar conventions.
Installer is a category of User, as described below.
Installer. A licensed professional contracted to remove the uncertified wood stove or insert and install the replacement device, possessing an appropriate active license, consistent with Exhibit B, issued by the California Contractors State License Board throughout the life of the contract, and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience of installing home heating devices to manufacturer specifications.
Installer. Delivers products and unloads transport vans, moves product into buildings and into assigned rooms; physically installs casework, millwork, countertops, and associated products at assigned construction sites; inspects deliveries for quality, shortages and damages. Communicates with personnel from general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders at the project. Applies construction knowledge and techniques; uses tools of the trade safely toward a quality result, travels as necessary to jobsites. Works in the factory when installation work is not required. Valid driver’s license required.
