Common use of Newly Created Positions Clause in Contracts

Newly Created Positions. a. Prior to the posting of a newly created position covered under the terms of this Agreement the parties shall negotiate the allowance for the position. b. If the parties cannot agree, the matter shall be referred to Arbitration in accordance with Article A.6 (Grievance Procedure). c. In the interim, the position may be filled at the allowance established by the Board.
