Newly Hired Faculty. Bargaining unit members hired on or after July 1, 2014 who have never worked for another Oregon employer, are considered a Tier IV employee for OPURP or Tier III PERS/OPSRP.

Newly Hired Faculty. A list of the names and information described in 3.5 above for all newly hired full-time and part-time employees within the bargaining unit, within five (5) days of the last payroll of the month in which they were hired. In lieu of providing the information above in the form of a list, the District may meet this obligation by providing the Federation access to a secure electronic site within which the above information is available. Non-workplace addresses, and telephone numbers of individuals who have requested that their information be kept private will not be provided. As part of the package of information to newly hired Unit members, the District shall provide each newly hired Unit member with a membership form, a copy of the Agreement as stated in Article 3.3, and membership information provided by the Union.
Newly Hired Faculty. Members All faculty members hired to an insurance eligible position must make their elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5 Subd. 3. Insurance eligible faculty members will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If faculty members eligible for a full Employer contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the faculty member’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year.

  • Extended Child Care Leave Upon written notification, no later than four weeks prior to the expiration of the aggregate leave taken pursuant to Clauses 21.1 (Maternity Leave) and 21.2 (Parental Leave), an employee will be granted a further unpaid leave of absence not to exceed one year. An employee wishing continued coverage under any applicable benefit plans will pay the total premium costs while on extended child care leave. An employee on extended child care leave will provide the Employer with at least one month's written notice of return from such leave. Upon return from extended child care leave, an employee will be placed in their former position.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Contractor represents and warrants that it shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Drug-Free Work Place Act of 1988 (41 U.S.C. §701 et seq.) and maintain a drug-free work environment.

  • ARTISTES AND SPORTSPERSONS 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 7 and 14, income derived by a resident of a Contracting State as an entertainer, such as a theatre, motion picture, radio or television artiste, or a musician, or as a sportsperson, from his personal activities as such exercised in the other Contracting State, may be taxed in that other State. 2. Where income in respect of personal activities exercised by an entertainer or a sportsperson in his capacity as such accrues not to the entertainer or sportsperson himself but to another person, that income may, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 7 and 14, be taxed in the Contracting State in which the activities of the entertainer or sportsperson are exercised.
