Common use of No Lockout/No Strike Clause in Contracts

No Lockout/No Strike. A. It is agreed that during the life of this Agreement there shall be no lockout of employees covered under this Agreement by the Board, nor will the Association actively engage in a strike, work stoppage, slowdown or other interruption of public service. B. Employees covered under this Agreement shall be encouraged under all circumstances to abide by the terms of the written agreement. The Association shall neither authorize nor ratify any action alluding to any such support of action not in accordance with the meaning of this Section. C. If the Association has carried out the above obligations, the Association and its officers shall not be held liable for any action taken by individual members.
