Nonpermitted Changes. Employees will not be permitted to displace probationary employees working on the requested shift or employees with less seniority on the requested shift who are undergoing specialized training or are on a special assignment. Further, a shift preference request may be denied due to any requirements imposed by law upon the Employer. A shift preference request may also be denied if it would alter the manpower requirements established by the Employer or would otherwise be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • CLEC Requested Changes 58.9.1 CLEC may submit a request to negotiate and pay for changes in the content and format of the usage data transmitted by CenturyLink.

  • Classification Changes When the University determines that a revision of a class specification for positions covered by this agreement is needed, and such revision affects the collective bargaining unit designation, the University shall notify AFSCME in writing of the proposed change. AFSCME shall notify the University, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the proposed changes, of any comments it has concerning the proposed changes or of its desire to discuss the proposed changes.

  • Minor Modifications A. The following may be administratively authorized as minor modifications to this Agreement:

  • SCOPE CHANGES The Commissioner reserves the right to require, by written order, changes to the scope of the Contract, by altering, adding to or deducting from the Bid Specifications, such changes to be within the general scope of the Contract. If any such change causes an increase or decrease in the cost of, or the time required for, performance of any part of the work under the Contract, whether or not changed by the order, the Commissioner shall, upon notice from Contractor as hereafter stated, make an equitable adjustment in the Contract price, the delivery schedule or both and shall modify the Contract. The Contractor must assert its right to an adjustment under this clause within thirty days from the date of receipt of the written order. However, if the Commissioner decides that the facts justify it, the Commissioner may provide an adjustment without receipt of a proposal. Failure to agree to any adjustment shall be a dispute under the Disputes clause, provided, however, that nothing in this clause shall excuse the Contractor from proceeding with the Contract as changed.

  • CONTRACT ITEM CHANGES A. If a manufacturer discontinues a contracted item, that item will automatically be considered deleted from the contract with no penalty to Contractor. However, H-GAC may at its sole discretion elect to make a contract award to the next lowest Respondent for the item, or take any other action deemed by H-GAC, at its sole discretion, to be in the best interests of its Customers.

  • Notification of Modifications of Licensed Materials From time to time, Licensor may add, change, or modify portions of the Licensed Materials, or migrate the Licensed Materials to other formats. When such changes, modifications, or migrations occur, the Licensor shall give notice of any such changes to Licensee as soon as is practicable, but in no event less than thirty (30) days in advance of modification. If any of the changes, modifications, or migrations renders the Licensed Materials substantially less useful to the Licensee or its Authorized Users, the Licensee may seek to terminate this Agreement for breach pursuant to the termination provisions of this Agreement in Section 6, below.
