Common use of Normal Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Normal Hours of Work. (a) The normal work day shall consist of up to eight (8) consecutive hours of work at straight time hourly rates of pay, inclusive of any applicable paid rest and/or paid meal periods. (b) The normal work week shall consist of not more than forty (40) hours of work at straight time hourly rates of pay, inclusive of any applicable paid rest and/or paid meal periods. (c) The normal work week shall commence at 12:01 A.M. Sunday and end the following Saturday at midnight.

Normal Hours of Work.
