Notice of Inability to Report to Work. Employees who are unable to perform their duties because of personal illness, family illness, extenuating circumstances or other special leave must notify their administrative supervisor and substitute finder at least one (1) hour prior to the start of the work day, or as soon as possible. Failure to do so shall result in a pay reduction and appropriate disciplinary action, except in the case of an emergency.

  • Failure to Return to Work If, upon the expiration of FMLA or CFRA Leave, or any District approved extension thereof including General Leave, an employee fails to return to work and no additional leave has been authorized, the employee shall be considered to have automatically resigned from his or her position.
