Notice of Layoff and Employee Response. A. In the event of a notice of layoff to employees, the Union shall concurrently receive a copy of the notification, a current seniority list, and when available, the names of affected employees. B. Except in unusual circumstances, employees shall normally be given at least two (2) weeks notice of layoff. Employees who are bumped shall be provided with as much notice as possible. C. Upon notification of layoff, employees shall have two (2) business days to provide written notification to the Human Resources Office of intent to exercise the bumping rights set forth in this Article.
