Notice of Temporary Lay Off. Regular full-time employees and regular part-time employees shall be given a minimum of five (5) working days written Notice of Temporary Lay Off by the Employer. If the Employer fails to give the required notice of lay-off, the employee shall be paid in lieu of notice an amount equivalent to the amount of notice that is lacking. Vacation time is not to be used by the Employer as part or all of the notice of lay- off.
