Notice of Use of Leave. A faculty member will notify or cause to be notified the person designated by the Campus Vice President and Xxxxxxx of an absence chargeable to leave under this Section 6.1 prior to the time the faculty member is to report for the assigned duty for which the faculty member intends to use leave under this Section 6.1. If it is impossible to give such notice prior to reporting, such notice shall be given as soon as possible
