If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved at Step 1, it shall be presented in writing to the Vice President of Nursing Services within seven (7) calendar days after receiving the answer from the supervisor at Step 1. The written grievance shall fully set forth the facts of the grievance, the section or sections of the Agreement alleged to have been violated, the remedy or correction sought, and why the written response of the supervisor was not satisfactory. If the grievance is filed in the proper form and in a timely manner, the Vice President of Nursing Services shall then meet with the nurse and at the nurse’s discretion, a representative of the Association, within seven (7) calendar days of the date the grievance is presented in writing in an effort to resolve the matter and shall provide the nurse with a written response to the grievance within seven (7) calendar days of the meeting.
